Hey Sydney! You’re invited to our first event of the year, the Sydney/Eora Design Market! Get ready to support small and discover over 150 local makers and designers as we come together at our new home, the Hordern Pavilion. It’s all kicking off Friday, 16th June, until Sunday, 18th June, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Shopping Highlights:

Supporting local has never been so easy – and fun! With over 150 stalls filling the Hordern Pavilion, there are so many talented designers, artists, and makers to meet and discover. Indigenous Program Recipient: Bush To Bowl

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Bush to Bowl, our Sydney/Eora AW23 Indigenous Program recipients! ⁠
Founded by Clarence Bruinsma (Yaegl) and Adam Byrne (Garigal/Gadigal), Bush to Bowl is a 100% Aboriginal-owned social enterprise dedicated to establishing a space of healing and a platform for First Nations people.

Visit their stall at the Sydney/Eora Market this weekend, meet the team and discover their assortment of bush foods and starter kits, allowing you to cultivate your very own at-home bushtucker garden. You’ll also have the chance to join a workshop and learn how to create a bushtucker balcony garden with Anthony Freeman (Wiradjuri), and for the kids, join a Dance or Art workshop with Aleta Wassel (Darkkinjung). ⁠

Free Clay Sydney Workshops:

Join Clay Sydney at Finders Keepers for a hands-on pottery experience. Take a pause at a drop-in session to create a trinket dish or incense holder using various techniques. Just there for the mindful experience? It’s free of charge to create and then recycle your piece back for others to create their own masterpieces. 

Create something you’re really happy with? The lovely folks at Clay Sydney will take it back to their Inner West studio, glaze and fire it twice for you to pick up later for just $45. No need to book; stop by when you’re ready!

We are thrilled to announce the return of live music, featuring a lineup of Sydney’s coolest DJs who will set the perfect tone for your weekend market experience! On Friday, DJ Tiny Dancer and Wasteland will fill the air with their incredible beats. Saturday’s soundtrack will be carefully crafted by DJ Sam Genie, BenX, and DJ Lambam. Finally, to conclude the weekend with all the good vibes, James Jensen, Tyoow, and Gentleforce will take the stage.

Tickets: Our tickets are $6, with kids under 13 FREE! Buy them on the door (cashless only) or pre-purchase online now. When you pre-purchase your tickets, you’ll go in the running to win one of five annual subscriptions to Peppermint Magazine!
