After a year away from the Finders Keepers Markets what are you looking forward to most?
I can’t wait to feel energized by the wonderful makers and lovely market-goers!! Seeing everyone in real life will be such a treat. I’ve missed those conversations and connections so very much.
What can shoppers expect from your stall? Are you bringing something new or special that’s not to be missed?
My stall is going to offer a little colour therapy for those who need some bold and bright colour in their life! Something new would be my Collectors Edition Screen Prints. They’re absolutely beautiful quality, with only 20 of each. It’s been such a nice creative expansion for me to include in my offerings. I also have handfuls of cute new socks that haven’t been to the markets yet! They make lovely gifts for yourself or your friends and family.
What do you love about Brisbane?
I love the people; they’re friendly, encouraging and warm. I love West End for that reason, no matter where you go the people are lovely. It was the first place I felt so welcome and comfortable after moving from Melbourne, so it holds a special place in my heart. I love the Brisbane itself let’s me connect with nature more than I ever have- we spend heaps of time outside soaking up the sun!
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at Finders Keepers Brisbane!! I can’t wait to hug Holly from Paper Hands as well!
What do you love about running workshops and what will participants walk away with?
The experience of being able to share what I do with other people really energizes me! I feel excited to share what I’ve learned with people. I love it. I want people to discover what they love and if I can play a small part in that, that’s just wonderful.
Why is it important for you to be creative?
I love being creative, I can express myself, I can work through my feelings. It’s a way for me to be in touch with myself and connect with other people through feeling.
