The Tawny Owl Stringband
Brought together through a deep affection for the old time music of Appalachia, The Tawny Owl Stringband is a collaboration between a couple of Sydney’s finest bluegrass, folk and country musicians. Featuring Jimmy Daley on mandolin, banjo, guitar and vocals (The Morrisons, Diamond Duck) and Anna McInerney on violin and vocals (terza madre, The Morrisons).
DJ Dom Alessio
Dom Alessio was born a DJ. Well, they’re his initials, because his middle name is James. While he’s perhaps better known as the one-time host of triple j’s Australian music show Home & Hosed, Dom has been DJing for many years, playing sets at festivals like Splendour In The Grass, Secret Garden and the Big Day Out, as well as at bars, clubs and the occasional beer garden around the country.

“Excellent morals delivered in a wonderful way by passionate people” – What’s On Sydney
“Beautifully together, experienced and artfully aware of what excites children” – Lisa Thatcher
“We LOVED the show today veggies! The band was amazing and the songs were sooooooo groovy. Buzz and I laughed and tapped our toes and had the best afternoon out. Lah-Lah xx” – Lah Lah, ABC Kids
Georgia Fields’ postcard-perfect pop combines the astral with the ordinary, earning her a reputation as
one of Australia’s brightest indie singer-songwriters. Brimming with an intoxicating melodicism, Fields’
songcraft draws on influences as far-reaching as Greek mythology, lunar folklore and the succulent
anatomy of citrus fruits. Her captivating solo show is full of wit and wonder: “intelligent, seductive and
touched by a vividly-blooming magic” (The Autumn Roses, USA).
Clarissa Mei is a 21 year old songwriter and producer, born and raised in Western Sydney, Australia.
She began playing gigs in her local community from a young age, her style always sitting predominantly within soul and Rnb, her trills and vocal technique soaring beyond her acoustic-based instrumental. Now, Clarissa is excited to continue her own production and new electronic-based sounds.
Clarissa has debuted her new sound at The Plot Festival 2017, Secret Garden Festival and Women in Music Empowerment Day 2018. She has also performed at MCA event GENEXT alongside Kota Banks, Clypso & PRINCI.
Clarissa Mei launched onto the scene with her debut singles ‘Vulnerable’ and ‘Point of View’. She is due to release her anticipated EP early 2019.
DJ Bridget Hustwaite
Hailing from Ballarat, Bridget Hustwaite now resides in Sydney as host of Good Nights on triple j. Alongside her radio commitments, Bridget also runs her own music blog and likes to sneak behind the DJ decks from time to time.
