We are layered up and ready to go out with an Autumn / Winter bang. Melbourne is going to be HUGE (and so are we, have you seen the food line-up!?) We’ve been super busy curating a unmissable line-up of innovative design, accessible art and heavenly handmade homewares, plus as always there’s a killer entertainment program and loads of food to keep you groovin’.
From 12 noon, Friday is a winner for escaping weekend crowds and turning an ordinary Friday night into something different! Day hours are perfect for families as well as parents n’ prams eager to conquer a creative day out. An absolute hit last season, we welcome back Castle & Cubby to Melbourne who will be activating an exciting interactive kids zone. Imaginations will run wild thanks to these incredibly cute cubbies sourced from recycled materials and recently featured on The Design Files. Stay on from 3-5pm for our Happy Hour and shop with a champagne in hand – or sit back with a market mate and enjoy the entertainment on offer.
In Melbourne we also celebrate and welcome our Indigenous Program recipient Amber Days. This ethical children’s wear label draws from the land for inspiration, creating dreamy designs for the little ones to wonder in. Collaborating with an array of Aboriginal artists and Aboriginal owned, Amber Days is not to be missed.

Frankie Magazine:
Shaking things up this season, our media partner mates at frankie magazine will be holding chinwags with frankie LIVE on stage Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am. Join SPACES editor Leta Keens as she chats to six incredible stallholders about Putting Yourself Out There in the Creative World. Check out the panels for Saturday and Sunday here!
PLUS spot a frankie – pick it up! That’s right, FREE frankie magazines will be scattered around The Royal Exhibition Building all weekend as part of frankie in the wild. We get really excited about food and this food line-up is FUN! Warm your cockles with a curry, get fried with a bao waffle and feed your inner sweet monster with a vegan donut from Nutie (it’s their first Melbourne market!)
PLUS we are so lucky to have Melbourne’s cheese loving Firecracker onsite ready to feed you hall of fame style toasties and cheese boards to match with our beautiful wine offerings all weekend! Firecracker know and love food and we could’t be more thrilled to have them under our roof of creatives.

Discovering local tunes at Finders Keepers is part of the fun. Bring the kids along for a stage side boogie with The Tiptoe Giants plus discover a bunch of emerging musicians and DJs. Castle & Cubby back in Melbourne!
A huge hit over Summer, Castle & Cubby are back supporting Finders Keepers this season, and a brilliant distraction to keep your youngsters engaged and entertained!
Castle & Cubby handcraft eco-friendly play spaces for little kids with BIG imaginations! They think that the best play is imaginative play. All products are made by hand in Melbourne using sustainably-sourced and recycled timbers. Personally we would actually live in one of these if we could!

Our 2019 partner Xero, proudly sponsoring our debut stallholders, have you sorted if you’re looking for a place to re-charge – both your phone and your body! Find comfy chairs alongside charging stations at the Xero re-charge lounge so you can *breath* and reboot!
