Public Holiday has an emphasis on simplicity of form. Repetition, pattern and colour are also integral in the finish of each piece. Each piece is hand formed on the wheel in Carly Buteux’s small studio in Marrickville.
The unique shapes and glazes embrace the beauty in imperfection. The natural colours and textures from a variety of stoneware clays have become a feature in the continuing development of Public Holiday’s ceramics.
Be sure to pop by the Public Holiday at our Sydney market this weekend. These gorgeous creations won’t last long!
