Oktoberdee is fronted by the always-adorable Lauren Hassett, who founded the label in 2005. Ten years on, Oktoberdee is now recognised as one of Australia’s leading fashion and accessories labels, and is certainly a crowd favourite at our markets.
Parlourpop, Oktoberdee’s latest collection, will conjure memories of the old neighbourhood milk bar; of seaside adventures and sun bleached paints blistering in the summer heat. The Milkman Bag is a piece worthy of a special mention and combines the perfect mix of versatility, practicality and of course style.
The collection showcases fun, summer colours like terracotta, powder blue and emerald green across both leather-goods and jewellery. Those with a keen eye may also recognise the fabric featured in the Jaffle Bag, which was designed especially for the collection by Melbourne based artist Belinda Marshall.
