The Brisbane AW14 Finders Keepers Markets launch TOMORROW at The Old Museum in Herston from 10am until 4pm.  We will also be open again on Sunday from 10am until 4pm.  There is so much to see and do, from our impressive line up of independent art & design stalls, to our delicious collection of food stalls, as well as live bands and djs plus a workshop too!  A feast for the senses, you will be sure to find something new and inspiring, with lots to see, eat, hear and make!  All for the price of $2 entry fee!  Download the site map ahead of time to find out exactly where your favourite designers are located, and perhaps find some new favourites!  For more information on the event including how to get there, parking and other info please head to our Brisbane markets page here.  There you will also find out how to get a free ride to the event with Uber (new users only)!

Workshop:

Star Weaving Workshop
Finders Keepers stall holder and weaving artist, Maryann Talia Pau will be running a free star weaving workshop as part of her project 1 Million Stars to End Violence.  You can take one home, gift it forward to someone and leave one for the December constellation Maryann will be assembling in Melbourne.  All materials are provided and everyone is welcome! So bring a friend and get your ‘Star Weave On!’
No need to book for this workshop, just drop in between 10:30am and 3:30pm both days.

Frankie Magazine
Navigate your way to the frankie stand and you’ll find all the usual favourites plus some extra bits and bobs: handmade headbands, bunting and pillowcases, SPACES Volume Two, our nifty patterned gift paper book and some shiny new copies of issue 60. Wahoo! We’ll also have our handy tea towels and tote bags up for grabs, so you can carry around your goodies in lovely frankie style.

As always we have a fantastic collection of food stalls who will be ready to serve you tasty treats while you relax in the lovely outdoor seating in the garden of The Old Museum.  There will be coffee, smoothies, ciders, beers, wine and a huge selection of food offerings.  You will be sure to find something tasty and locally made to feast on!  Find the list of food stalls below.

The Bar Of Happiness
Exclusive to our Brisbane Finders Keepers, The Bar of Happiness will be serving ciders, craft beers, red/white wine, bubbles and a cocktail surprise.

MGOJ
With food that makes you happy and healthy, MGOJ will be serving freshly squeezed Orange Juice, mandarine juice and a combo of 100% fruit slushies.

Cycle Smoothies
We pedal the finest organic smoothies. Yep that’s right our smoothies are pedal powered.  You choose your fresh ingredients and either you or they will pedal it to perfection.

Gasoline Coffee
Award winning barista using award winning beans.

Kombi Coffee
Kombi Koffein presents ‘Muriel’, The Split Screen Bean Machine.  A unique vintage mobile cafe experience.  A guerrilla cafe that is not run by chimps.

Freshly made Hungarian food.

Sushi Neko
Sushi Neko Food Van travels around Brisbane to serve beautifully made tamari sushi balls as well as some of the delicious gourmet Japanese Food.  Regardless if you are a sushi goer or eating sushi for the first time, you won’t be disappointed.

Fiery Deli
Fiery Deli is all about offering you the most delicious, wholesome and nourishing food experience, the flavours of our meals will simply delight you.  Our meals are all Gluten, dairy, yeast and sugar free.  We use only the freshest ingredients sourced locally where possible & free range chicken & organic eggs. Ben and Ian met 13 years ago at the 5 star Hinchinbrook Island Resort where Ian was head chef and Ben was the cold larder chef.  Ian’s passion and Ben’s drive (as well as both having a wicked sense of humour) complement each other perfectly and, after many years of talking about it, they finally decided to start something for themselves: The Bagel Boys.
