Due to the high volume of visitors to the markets, The Finders Keepers highly recommends using public transport.
The Barangaroo website has comprehensive information about getting to and from Barangaroo Reserve via bus, train, ferry, cycling, walking, car, taxi and water taxis. The Cutaway, Barangaroo Reserve is only a short walk from Wynyard station.
Wynyard Station to Barangaroo Reserve
From Wynyard Station, follow the signs to Exit 4 for Barangaroo and take the Wynyard Walk tunnel to Napoleon Plaza. Your journey to Barangaroo Reserve from this point is signposted.
You can either opt to take Wynyard Walk or Napoleon bridge across to Barangaroo South where you’ll be able to walk west toward the waterfront. Once you reach the waterfront, head north on Wulugul Walk along the foreshore to Barangaroo Reserve. It is approximately a 1.1km walk from the Wynyard Station exit.
Further walking directions from Wynyard can be found on Barangaroo website here.
Arriving via Taxi / Uber:
We strongly recommend you direct your driver to drop you off at Bettington Street (off Dalgety Road next to Hotel Palisade) on top of the Barangaroo Reserve, and then walk down to the Cutaway via lift (ground level) or via the stairs. This is the most accessible entry to the Cutaway if you are being dropped off.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please see the map below for pedestrian access and walkways. There is a no-stopping zone on Hickson Road due to these new changes, so you need to follow the map below, and signage as indicated.
CONSTRUCTION CHANGES:
Due to Sydney Metro Station works, Hickson Road footpath is closed to pedestrians until September between High Steps and beneath Munn Street bridge. This is to allow concrete finishing work to continue in the Barangaroo Metro Station box.
Pedestrians are encouraged to detour via the recently opened Barangaroo foreshore connection, Wulugul Walk, or via High Street. Please read the community notice for more information and a copy of the detour map. Hickson Road will still remain open for vehicles.
Limited parking is available. Care Park operates a public car park at Barangaroo Reserve providing a limit of 300 car spaces over two basement levels. The car park operates between 6am - midnight, 7 days per week. The car park has 8 accessible parking spaces on Level B1. For current fees, charges and maps head to the Care Park Barangaroo Reserve Car Park website.
