Get ready for one HUGE weekend of celebrating independent Australian art + design plus live music, delicious food (for fuelling more shopping) and interactive activities just for the kids. The East Coast Tour kicks off THIS WEEKEND at the stunning Royal Exhibition Building with over 270 stallholders and much, much more.
From 12 noon, Friday is the new great choice to escape weekend crowds. Perfect for families as well as parents n’ prams to move through the aisles with extra room for the little nippers to roam. The kids and their imaginations can run wild with our new supporter Castle & Cubby who will be activating an exciting interactive zone for the young ones. Prior to play time you can also make the most of FREE face painting fun for the young (and young at heart) from 12-3pm.
Did someone say Spritz? Join us for Happy Hour on Friday at the Finders Keepers bars between 3-5pm and then following for an ‘FK Spritz’ to kick off our live entertainment from 6pm. The FK Spritz is our limited edition cocktail mixed until sold out, and includes Brookies Slow Gin, Capi Blood Orange Soda & Harvest Sparkling Wine, by Unico Zelo – YUM – shopping then rolls on til’ 9pm! Following Friday’s fun we’ll be open all weekend – check for hours below!
Not to be missed is Byron Bay based large format artist Leah Bartholomew who joins us in Melbourne! Leah is the Finders Keepers Artist Program recipient who created the colourful original illustration for this season’s campaign – it’s one of our favourites yet! In Melbourne we also celebrate and welcome our Indigenous Program recipient Marnin Studio, a social enterprise for local women which connects to country, culture and identity. Here you’ll find incredibly unique products that reflect the artist’s deep knowledge of the local environment, culture and community. Support Marnin Studio this weekend by visiting them at stall F16.

Introducing Castle & Cubby!
The kids and their imaginations can run wild with our new supporter Castle & Cubby who will be activating an exciting interactive zone for the young ones all weekend!
Castle & Cubby handcraft eco-friendly play spaces for little kids with BIG imaginations! They think that the best play is imaginative play. All products are made by hand in Melbourne using sustainably-sourced and recycled timbers.

This season be sure to look out for (and get involved with) our new Artists Walls, handmade in collaboration with a line-up of very talented local artists, you’ll find them scattered around the venue ready for fun live event photos with your friends.
