Hey Brisbane! We're hosting a mini-market in collaboration with Brisbane Art Design (BAD) 2023 on Saturday May 20, 2023 at The Black, Brisbane in Albion!
The Finders Keepers x BAD Pop-up Market is a one-day-only FREE art and design mini-market showcasing 25+ talented local makers. Check out the full line-up here. We’d love you to be part of this brand-new event with TFK x BAD!
Check out the BAD 2023 Program and support Brisbane artists and designers!
Come for the market, and stay for the crafty fun! Join in this FREE workshop at the TFK x BAD mini market: Casual collaging fun with Emma Anna from Cut X Paste Brisbane and Peppermint Magazine. Come anytime from 10am - 1pm, inside the market at The Black. This crafty workshop is free and kid-friendly too!
While you’re at it, stop by the Peppermint Magazine stall, say g’day to their wonderful team and snap a selfie. We’re big fans of this locally made mag choc-full of sustainability gems, brands doing good and free sewing patterns.
The Black will also host several creative and inspiring workshops and talks on Saturday, the 20th of May. Learn how to make Japanese moss balls in a Kokedama Class, listen to a PechaKucha Presentation with local artists, try your hand at clay with a Pinch Pot Workshop hosted by Michelle Le Plastrier or join a mindful Art and Self Love Workshop, a watercolour painting workshop encouraging discussion about body image between friends and strangers. Learn more about these workshops here.
Get to know the BAD neighbourhood better with a guided walking trail kicking off at The Black. This free, low-impact walking trail will take guests into local creative spaces to discover Brisbane’s art and design scene. The tour will take visitors to Neighbourhood Coffee Roasters, FireWorks Gallery, Art House Reproductions, Revival Art & Design Gallery before finishing back at The Black. Learn more here.
