Silverfox Jewellery is the Sydney based studio of Dua Green, focused on the design of classic, strong pieces for the individual. Many of the pieces are designed as sets encouraging the wearer to add their own style through choice and combination.
Having studied architecture and worked in the field for 10 years, both in Australia and the UK, Dua became interested in the scale and immediacy of jewellery, the craft and satisfaction of making. The influence of architecture is clearly evident in the geometric and folding forms. To compliment this architectural understanding Dua draws inspiration from the landscape, when viewed from afar, and light, how it moves across and through surfaces. Working with silver, resin, and acrylic the jewellery focuses on creating pieces that reflect and transmit light and therefore change depending on how the pieces are worn and where.
