Shelbyville
Shelbyville encompasses a range of books, accessories, jewellery, badges, stationery, stickers, and a host of other paper-based graphic-designerly things. Shelbyville products are an eclectic mix of illustration + typography, the old + the new, digital design + handcraftedness. Inspired and created from ‘found things’, vintage imagery, and an array of recycled materials, the Shelbyville philosophy is one of reappropriating old things and redesigning them into contemporary items – 1960s Scrabble tiles recycled into jewellery; handbound leather notebooks with covers made from old sofas; handmade badges + stickers + envelopes + postcards made from the remixing of vintage storybooks, old atlases and an assortment of other found papers.
