Shagpile is the ever evolving result of a healthy obsession with vintage textiles, color, pattern and texture. Through experimentation, Andria has found that creating her own covered buttons transforms her snippets of textiles into a versatile and practical medium to work with. Buttons are put together in classic as well as unexpected combinations of color and pattern creating a wide range of jewellery and accessories ranging from necklaces and headbands to cufflinks and rings. The modern, geometric configuration of round buttons makes an appealing juxtaposition to the vintage patterns of fabrics used.
