Red Seed Studio is the design collaboration of Ellie Beck & Sam Messina. We make a bespoke collection of modern, timeless and precious pieces, designed to be worn, cherished and adored every single day. {Clothing, accessories, homewares, jewellery and other little pieces}.
We use organic and sustainable fabrics and materials for all our products {hemp, organic cotton, linen, vintage Japanese kimonos, the wood from broken skateboards, lovely treasured fabric scraps}. Each Red Seed Studio piece is hand screen printed in small runs in our Brisbane studio, using environmentally friendly inks. Our products are sewn and made by us (or local friends), ensuring quality for each piece, and a respect for our planet, resources and people. The quality and integrity of handcrafted and thoughtfully designed pieces is important to us.
Our first fashion collection is a mix of soft hues and pretty nature-inspired prints perfect for a Summer's picnic, combined with our bold and striking one-of-a-kind full colour art skirts which are sure to make a statement. Our cuts are classic and timeless, designed for a flattering and comfortable fit. We consciously design long-wearing, long-lasting fashion and homewares that outlive the latest fashion trend.
Lines, shapes, light, texture, and of course, our children, continue to inspire us in the creation of our ever-evolving collection of beautiful pieces that we love to use, wear, touch and look at!
