A collection of fresh, quirky, illustrated art prints and stationery made in Melbourne, by designers Mara & Nicholas Girling, are created for the young and young at heart. The range includes art prints, greeting cards and notebooks, featuring sweet birds, hooting owls, quirky penguins, retro robots and more.
Mara and Nicholas have collected design inspired bits and pieces over the years and these are all kept in scrapbooks, which then lead to a resource book full of product ideas, colours and textures from which Printspace developed. The other guiding light is their attraction to modernism architecture, art, commercial art and illustration in the late 50's and early 60's, as well as textile design and all things Danish.
The environmentally friendly products, combine original hand drawn elements and collage with a blend of unique, modern elements and gorgeous colour.
The aim is to run a creative outfit that is inspiring and fun, surrounded by happy staff and collaborators. Simply put to have a positive effect on room and to make people smile.
