One summer day, three girls sat beneath a vine and dreamt of big things. Big crafty things.
With excitement that tripped their speech and ideas that ballooned, Pear Shaped was born. Their dreams were filled with visions of bangles that mapped their way home, and childhood stories pinned onto coats, of birds on lapels and scarves as soft as clouds.
So the girls got crafty and delved into the enchanted worlds of resin and felt. What followed were nights puzzled by bubbles in resin and waking up with felt entwined hair, but the girls found their craft to be endlessly surprising and uncontainable.
As carefully placed drips of colour slowly leached towards each other and lengthy scarves shrunk the girls fell in love with the constantly Pear Shaped nature of their creations.
