About the Markets
The Finders Keepers Markets are a bi-annual event that showcases the work of emerging designers and artists from all around Australia & even New Zealand! Our first markets were held in December 2008 at CarriageWorks in Sydney. One year on and we have also launched in Brisbane and our aim is to launch nationally (watch this space!). With a passion for bringing independent design to the forefront and encouraging the Australian emerging art & design scene, we've created markets that maintain a grass roots level but still have work of very high standards.
If you have never been to a Finders Keepers event you are in for quite a treat, like no other event in Australia the markets have a festival feel with live music, cafe & bar with thousands of people celebrating independent art & design. Best of all our events will always be FREE and everyone from all walks of life are invited to join us..

Our application process
If you are a designer or artist interesting in being apart of the Finders Keepers markets we have an application form that is quite simple to fill out - you can do it online on our website or fill out a word document form. We look for unique work of high standards and presentation is also very key in applying. All applications forms sent need to have a series of images of the work you wish to sell, we do not accept drawings or proposals only finished products. The markets are curated and we spend a great deal of time choosing the final stallholders, in this sense it has now become quite competitive to get in to.
The markets applications open 14 weeks prior to the market dates. We have an 8 week opening for applications and 6 weeks preparation in the lead up to the event.

Please note: We do not take email offers before or after these dates as we get inundated with people sending us emails.
Fee's: Our market fees are considerably cheaper than other design markets and exhibitions, however due to the rising costs and popularity of our events we will be reviewing the stall fees for 2010. The stall fee includes tables and clothing racks depending on your needs.
Restrictions: You need to be a new or emerging designer, not already established. If you are too established you will not be considered as our aim is to support the little guys. The product also needs to be current, we are not a sales market for old stock. We prefer handmade or Australian manufacturing. We don't accept food vendors.
