Mainichi inverts the concept of precious jewellery. We use no precious metals or jewels. Instead, unexpected, ordinary and everyday materials become pieces of wearable art.
Favourite materials include recycled timber, plastics, rubber, leather and fabrics, as well as bamboo, felt, polypropylene, linen and hemp thread.
