Lilly Piri is a visual artist and illustrator from the Gold Coast, who enjoys making still life paintings, zines, paper goods, creating handmade wooden pieces and drawing.
Her work has been featured in Frankie, Yen, Empty, Semi-Permanent, Curvy. She has worked with clients like Oxfam America, MILK Japan, Poketo, Harper's Bazaar, Ironfist, Saatchi and Saatchi, Energy BBDO, NYLON, Walker books, and illustrated all four (five, soon!) covers of the Friday Barnes books.
Lilly is inspired by nature, astronomy, literature, letter writing, philately, entomology, antique toys, pop culture, and travel.
Lilly is currently making a painting a day as a personal project, which includes painting vintage or found items. The inspiration for the project comes from her return to Europe in 2013, after a visit to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the Wallraf-Richartz museum in Cologne and the work of Duane Keiser.
