Goldenink are a collaborative from Melbourne consisting of Abby (a printmaker) and Katherine (a gold & silversmith), together they create exciting one-off jewellery and home wares, primarily made from hand painted porcelain and silver with subtle detail and tactility. By fusing together areas of expertise between the maker and the mark maker a beautiful unity is created within the collection. Their high quality porcelain jewellery range has a soft feel on the wearer; consisting of rings, earrings, bangles, brooches and necklaces, all playing around ideas to do with faceted formations and adorned profiles. Their home wares collection is enchantingly detailed and crafted; consisting of cups that are sumptuous to hold, echinoderm shaped candle tea lights and alluring vases, all of which highlight the handmade mark and mimic lace impressions within their form. Overall the organic forms and fluid illustration form a satisfying cohesion and lasting artistic sensibility.
