Girls Made This
With the one of one label, I want to create a collectable piece that will one day become a treasured heirloom. I love that jewellery develops a story of its own as it is gifted and passed on. It takes on its own meaning, reminding the person of a special time or event, and this is what I love most about designing jewellery. I myself am a collector and hoarder of odd little keepsakes, vintage children’s books, beads, postcards and these add to the inspiration of my work.
The one of one label is produced using hand-cut paper that is layered in resin and cast in sterling silver that takes several days to complete.
