Making ceramic work since 2003, I focus on two areas: three dimensional wall art and wheel-thrown functional work. I find a unique and happy balance in my work by jumping back and forth between these areas. sometimes (often) i have too many ideas and no patience so I let myself wander off the ‘production path’ – and have a bit of creative freedom. It’s from here that surprises come.

My work is tactile, textured… it begs to be held. I use colour and texture to communicate stories, feelings and thoughts; sometimes just little ramblings… sometimes more… clay is my canvas.
