Ernest Hope
Ernest Hope is a diverse production, carefully reviving salvaged and vintage textiles into fresh, bespoke wares. Individually handcrafted by the sea in Sydney, each is truly unique or (very) limited edition.
Inspired by the vintage and salvaged materials from which each is made, antique lace and cut work is re-invigorated with intricate needlework; the wrong side of the cloth might well trump the front.
No stone is left unturned in sourcing the most interesting cloth and prints - vintage tablecloths, souvenir linens and exotic barkcloth from the 1930s among them - to bring forth soulful, story-full wares.
