Carolyn has given us an eye-catching palette of greys to fit wonderfully with our warm winter wardrobes. Japanese and European metalsmithing techniques combined to create elegant treasures in colours rarely seen in western jewellery. Deftly using scrubbed silver, ‘shakudo’ (copper and gold), ‘shibuichi' (copper and silver), gold and other preciousness Carolyn channels inspiration from her surroundings, emphasising Australian and reclaimed materials. This winter’s features are brooches and pendants, with collections including delightful earrings, heavy bangles and sublime vessels. Carolyn’s work is treat to behold.
