Perhaps you joined us at our Food Market last year in Melbourne, or you’re a longtime fan of our design markets.
Maybe you’re here simply because you love food – deeply, joyfully, and with curiosity. Hello, you’re in good company!
Welcome to The Art of Dining Melbourne, hosted at Seaworks in Williamstown, March 21-22. This special food market series is a design-led, food-lovin’ celebration of why we come together to dine.
We gather to eat, yes, but food is so much more than just sustenance. It’s ritual, experience, shared and a comforting routine.
At this event, food becomes a design experience – it’s about finding art in the flavour, atmosphere and experience. It’s more than just a market; it’s an immersive, thoughtfully-curated food journey that takes you through the full cycle of dining: from growing to gathering and learning to linger.
Across one weekend, you’ll meet over 70 of Australia’s most exciting food and drink makers, plus designers and artists, each sharing their unique stories, practices, and philosophies. Together, they create a collective exploration of sustainability, creativity, and connection.
This lineup invites you to slow down, to gather, and to remember why dining together can be so meaningful.
Pull up a seat, and let’s dig in.
