Brisbane based guitar-slinger and singer Dana Gehrman has just had the sort of year most musicians can only dream about. Armed with her old Fender telecaster and matching Fender amps, Dana takes no prisoners on stage while she brings her 70’s ‘West Coast’ inspired Roots-Boogie to life with more panache and vitality than most rock n roll men could even dream of. We’re talking foot on the fold back, amps up loud and attitude to match. Gehrman’s debut LP is set to be released late 2018.

The Finders Keepers AW18 Brisbane Music Line up - DJ Mister Sheffield

After running the Honky club night upstairs at Ric’s for five years, he then frequented Black Bear Lodge, The End, Southside Tea Room and a few weird government festivals before “retiring” gracefully, only coming out of his hibernation for special events and things his mates organise. Yes, he loves the Brisbane Broncos and yes, he takes requests.

The Finders Keepers AW18 Brisbane Music Line up - Clea
Clea

Continuing to delve into her own eclectic tastes and influences, 21 year old Clea is making her mark upon the Australian music scene.
‘Polyester’, Clea’s enigmatic debut single, quickly racked up over two million plays on Spotify and earned acclaim from both Australian and international blogs alike. Next came the release of her second single, ‘Dire Consequences’, picked up by triple j and ushered onto a high rotation spot.

Clea’s new single ‘Bright Blue’ sees her ethereal vocals cut through pulsating instrumentation, her lyrics delving into the complexities of our broken democracy and the myopic optimism that keeps us from rebellion and change.
Clea’s forthcoming debut EP, ‘Fairweather’, set to be released in June was co-produced by Zefereli in a mix of both challenging circumstances and inspiring surrounds; between coastal and rural Queensland abodes and inner city studios. Sublime and surprising in its simplicity, ‘Fairweather’ delves into family relationships, heartbreaking loss and existing in a world where we so desperately need and crave honest leadership.
