We have an amazing weekend ahead of us as we have our 2nd ever Melbourne Finders Keepers at Shed 4 Docklands! The markets are free entry and include a bar, variety of food, live music, an art exhibition and over 150 designers & artists over a massive warehouse space spanning over 2,000 square metres!
The Markets are open from 10am – 5pm both Saturday & Sunday. We have a comprehensive list of options of how to get there on our website here, including a map of Docklands. Parking is also available at Docklands, however limited and there is a flat daily fee – we recommend leaving your car at home and jumping on a tram!
Reminder: There are no ATM’s onsite at Shed 4, some stalls will have Eftpos options however most of them will trade cash only. Please be prepared and make sure to bring cash on the day!

Drawn from Fashion Art Exhibition:
Drawn From Fashion is an exhibition showcasing and celebrating emerging Australian designers and young fashion illustrators and artists. Using photos from previous L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival runway events, 16 young Australian artists, hand-picked by Leeloo, have created original works using methods based in fashion illustration, art and graphic design.
Frankie Magazine Stall:
Come down to the frankie store and purchase your very own beautiful art print for $20. Artists to choose from include Catherine Campbell, Beci Orpin, Luke Chiswell and Amy Borrell. All poster profits will be donated to the Red Cross Appeal to help people in the floods, Japan and Christchurch.
Paper Convention Collective:
Paper is reaching new artistic heights. Dedicated to the documentation of paper expressionism, The Paper Convention Collective will interact people with paper and showcase their unique installation of floating geometric paper forms by Trial+Error. People will be able to experience the joys of re-discovering and exploring paper, with the sharing of ideas and community spirit.
We are also calling out to paper-artists and volunteers for our upcoming first ever paper event in 2011, The A4 Paper Festival. Create, Dream + Build with paper.
Mister Nice Guy Cupcakes:
Mister Nice Guy and BakeZilla (aka Mrs. Nice Guy) make the most delicious cupcakes on the block. Remember when vegan cupcakes won US Food Networks Cupcake Wars last year? Well, maybe you don’t, but it proved once and for all that cruelty-free tastes oh so much more sinful and delicious.
With drool worthy flavours such as Zombie Brains, Fuzzy Ewok, Mister Chocolate, Neapolitan, Key West and Orange Creamsicle; there will something for everyone at The Finders Keepers Market this Saturday and Sunday!
Ethical Clothing Australia Vintage Photobooth:
To promote all things ethical in fashion, Ethical Clothing Australia will be hosting a Vintage Photobooth at The Finders Keepers. So grab some friends, pop on some dress-ups and squeeze into the photobooth, and get snapped making a pledge to support Ethical Clothing Australia accredited clothing. Instant prints will be available on the day, as well as access to a password protected online gallery to download additional prints.
Mr Lincoln – Specialty Flowers:
Mr Lincoln is an eco-sound florist focusing on local produce, minimising waste and recycling waste into garden mulch based in Fitzroy. Mr Lincoln is a specialty stall that we have hand-picked to be included exclusively to the Finders Keepers Melbourne.

I went there on Sunday27th was amazing, I bought a unique small telescope necklace by Corkysaintclair : )hope this sort of Art and design market will happen at Dockland again soon. Freaking lovin it 🙂
