Craft Cubed will draw threads between skilled and cutting-edge craft trends at local, national and international levels. The festival offers a window into the making process through evolving collaborative exhibitions, workshops and a series of open studios. The theme for the inaugural Craft Cubed is CITY|COUNTRY. Local geographical boundaries have shifted dramatically in recent times. Populations are literally moving, profoundly effecting the environment, public space, urban planning and design. How is contemporary craft and design influencing these new forms of spatial engagement?”

Craft Cubed launches tomorrow night as part of Craft Victoria. Melbourne label Sunday Morning Designs, who were also apart of our last Sydney markets, have done a collaborative piece with Dylan Martorell that will be on display both in the Craft Victoria Window and also in Gallery 3.
