What product falls under the oneredline name?
oneredline is Jewellery and Objects, including lapel pins, rings, earrings, brooches, pendants and wall hangings.

What is your background in design and what inspired you to start what you do?
I studied at Jewellery and Oject Design at Enmore Design Centre, and have always worked in creative environments with other artists. I started making things after travelling and seeing art galleries filled with the most incredible objects, art that made me weak at the knees….

What is the story behind the name ‘oneredline’?
The name “oneredline” is to remind me to keep things simple, use logic and stay down to earth.

What are you working on at the moment and what things do you have in mind for the future?

The new range is called Amor Suerte Proteccion, and has a “day of the dead” feel to it. It’s mostly jewellery, but I’ve branched out and made wall hangings as well. Later in the year I would like to branch out further to create more objects/homewares.

Where do you find your inspiration?
Whenever im trying to design and I get lost, I find myself looking through anatomy books, tattoo magazines and looking up artists such as 666 photography, Sylvia Ji, Ron Mueck and Damien Hirst… to name a few.
I’m always being inspired by other peoples art.

What advice would you give to others with running a label?
When procrastination calls, use that downtime to write a list.
Then do something off the list.
So you can cross it off.
And then low and behold – you are no longer procrastinating!
