Betty Jo Designs is the creation of Melbournian Liz Jones.
All Betty Jo designs are crafted from recycled vintage linoleum, pre-loved buttons and antique embroidered doilies that someone’s grandma lovingly stitched. Liz transforms these forgotten pieces of domestic bric-a-brac into keepsake brooches, pendants and clocks, all with the memories loving attached.
Betty Jo Designs are hand made with predominately repurposed materials. The common threads that run through Liz's pieces are the memories that each medium evokes. All the materials have had another practical or decorative function and many have a story attached. These everyday items from the past have been crafted into wearable and decorative memories.
