Benconservato is the working name of Emma Kidd; artist, illustrator, printmaker and monster creator. She has travelled a lot in her life, living overseas, especially in France where the monsters started to take shape in her work. She likes to create dream-like images with animals with features you recognise but leaves you wondering what they really are. She likes the sea and likes to laugh.
We are independent design & art markets founded in Sydney, that supports new and emerging independent design. We aim to connect with others through our resources and projects. Our website is a growing source for the Australian art and design community and the supporters of our events.
