I created Barocky Chocky about 5 years ago as a necessary outlet for my feverish imagination and creativity. I’ve been in love with mid-20th century commercial art all my life: the sense of fun and education, the wonderful stylisation and colour. I’m also a compulsive observer. I decided to combine these passions to see if others appreciated what I did... and they do!
My first product was a handmade book championing Sydney’s electrical substations. The success of this encouraged me to sing the praises of other subjects that spoke to me, and the ideas and themes continue to flow.
I now have a wide variety of quirky greeting cards, unique prints and further handmade books of my photography.
