Created by Katharine O’Hara, Alfalfa products are inspired by visits to op shops most weekends, where she finds many items that have been lovingly handmade by people, and which are in need of a new home. Over the last few years Katharine has become more nostalgic for crafts that remind me her of her Grandmothers, whose houses were covered in embroidered placemats and doilies.
We are independent design & art markets founded in Sydney, that supports new and emerging independent design. We aim to connect with others through our resources and projects. Our website is a growing source for the Australian art and design community and the supporters of our events.
